Founder and Managing Partner of SEFIRA CAPITAL

His role will include Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Legal and Investor Relations.

Prior to forming Sefira, Aby was a founder and managing principal of Elion Partners, a private Real Estate fund based on Aventura, Florida that invests in commercial Real Estate across the United States. Aby was responsible for Elion’s finances and management. Before joining Elion, Aby worked at Acceso Partners (Beacon Investments Group), a Real Estate fund, where he focused on the acquisition and management of Florida properties. Prior to Acceso, Aby was a principal of Grupo Sindicato Pesquero del Peru, the world’s largest fishmeal company.

Aby has a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Universidad de Lima and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.

His main role is to lead the firm’s Acquisitions and/or Joint Ventures, oversee the Financial underwriting and the execution of each investment with the goal of maximizing returns. He´s also responsible for the fundraising efforts.

Prior to forming Sefira, Mijael played many roles including CFO and CEO in his own company TOOLCRAFT from 2000 to 2015. The company is a leading player in the Hardware Tools Market in Latin America and sells its products in more than 20 countries. Prior to this, Mr. Attias was a Senior Consultant for KPMG Financial Advisory Services from 1998 to 2000, and was involved in Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Valuations and Restructurings for over 35 companies.

Mijael is a CPA from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and an MBA from IPADE Business School. He serves in the Scheck Hillel Board of Advisors and is the Vice President of Skylake Synagogue.


Senior Commercial Asset Manager

Mr. Callejas joined Sefira Capital in 2017 bringing 12 years of industry experience and extensive knowledge focused in investment, asset management, real estate development, value enhancement and asset disposition.

Prior to joining Sefira, Mr. Callejas worked for Torchlight Investors where his role as an asset manager involved him in the stabilization and disposition of assets exceeding $300MM in value. Core properties included multifamily, retail, office, industrial and hospitality. Mr. Callejas holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Havana and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida.


Executive Assistant

Katherine joined Sefira Capital in May of 2017. She supports the top-executives by providing high-level administrative support. Katherine serves as primary point of contact/liaison for management. Katherine’s administrative obligations include: managing and maintaining executive schedules, scheduling travel and conferences, making appointments, answering and directing calls to appropriate executives and parties, greeting visitors and determining access to appropriate parties, opening, sorting, and distributing correspondence, reading and analyzing submissions, letters, agendas, memos and determining significance, prepares reports, collect and analyze information, prepare presentations, maintain inventory and office supplies, anticipates office needs and ensure operation of office equipment, organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts, and oversees special projects.

Katherine comes from working as an Administrative Assistant at New Line Transportation, a leading transportation company that delivers building material throughout the Southeast of the United States.

Katherine has a Degree from Miami-Dade College in Radio & TV Production.


Financial Analyst

His main role is to assist the firm with the financial underwriting of each acquisition. He is responsible for the market research and the financial feasibility and valuation analysis.

Jose joined Sefira with the following training and experience: an MS in Mathematics from the University of Miami, a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Trinity University, substantial graduate work in mathematical finance and 4 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has been involved in the market and valuation analysis, acquisition, contract negotiation, financing, and disposition of various types of commercial real estate investments.
